  • Research papers: Those of you choosing the 'research paper' option should plan to hand in a paper proposal by Nov. 6th. The proposal should be a 3-5 page synopsis of your paper, covering the following points:
    • what is the research question you address?
    • why is this an important / interesting question?
    • what do you plan to do to address it? (data, methods, theories)
    • what do you expect to find?
    • what will be the outline of your argument?
(Paper proposals will be returned to you with comments, but won't be graded. Only the final research paper will be graded.)
